YOUR PARTNERS IN WELLNESS

Welcome to Douglas Family & Animal Chiropractic. I'm Dr. Shelli Douglas, your friendly neighborhood chiropractor with an unwavering zest for life's adventures, an undeniable passion for helping people and animals alike live their healthiest, happiest lives. Whether you’re two-legged, four-legged, or somewhere in between, I’m here to assist in bringing wellness to every spine, tail, and hoof with a smile and a personal touch.
Born and raised in the heart of Southwest Florida, I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Everglades, the ocean’s endless horizon, and sunsets that painted the sky. My heart found a second home in East Tennessee, where I reveled in the kaleidoscope of seasons and roamed the trails of the Great Smoky Mountains. Since 2016, I’ve proudly called Georgia home, where I met my husband, and where I’ve found the perfect blend of all the places I hold dear.
My chiropractic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. But my passion for learning didn’t stop there. I accumulated extensive experience at Options for Animals: College for Animal Chiropractic, earning a certification through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). I currently hold dual licensure in Georgia and Tennessee, Graston Certified and a proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
Being a chiropractor isn’t just my profession – it’s my calling. I thrive on building genuine connections with my practice members, whether they’re human, furry, or hoofed. Every person and every animal has a story, and I’m here to listen, support, and help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
Before chiropractic found me, I spent over 14 years working in a variety of industries, which gave me a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, I bring that experience into my practice, creating a warm, family-oriented atmosphere where connection, healing, and positivity thrive.
At Douglas Family & Animal Chiropractic, your health and well-being are my top priorities. Whether it’s your back, your child’s posture, your dog’s mobility, or your horse’s performance, I’m here to guide you on a holistic health journey. Together, we’ll piece together the puzzle of optimal health, one adjustment at a time.
Thank you for trusting me to care for you and your family – paws, hooves, claws, and all. Let’s make wellness a way of life, from head to toe and tail to nose!
